Vogel found 3 NGC-objects; all are galaxies. NGC 63 and NGC 7464 were seen with the 8.5" Steinheil refractor, erected 1862 at Leipzig observatory. NGC 5358 was seen with the 27" Grubb refractor at Vienna Observatory.
