Engelhardt found 2 IC-objects; one was new. He made extensive observations of nebulae with the 12" f/12.6 Grubb refractor at his private observatory in Dresden. Unfortunately, IC 1463 is only a pair of stars and IC 5061 a star trio in Aquarius. The latter was discoverered by Bigourdan (1884). Both objects are listed in: Engelhardt, B., Observationes Astronomique, Deuxieme Partie, Dresden 1890, p. 218-219.
