Bidschof discovered two IC objects with the 27" refractor of
Vienna Observatory: IC 1872 and IC 2951. The former was found in February 1891 and classified as a "star cluster", but it is only a small group of 3-4 stars. IC 2951,
found in February 1897, is a galaxy in Leo. IC 1872 and IC 2951 are listed as
#16 and #84, respectoively, in: Bidschof, F., Catalog der auf der k. k. Sternwarte zu Wien
beobachteten Nebelflecken, AN [3520] 147, 257-264 (1898).
